Welcome to Yogaloka (https://yogaloka.com). By accessing our website, booking yoga classes, workshops, or purchasing products from us, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before making a booking or purchase.
2. Services & Products Offered
Yogaloka provides Iyengar Yoga instruction, including group classes, private tuition, online classes, workshops, and related yoga products/equipment.
- All class schedules, descriptions, and prices displayed on the website are subject to availability and change.
- We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any class, workshop, or product without prior notice.
3. Bookings, Payments, and BNPL
- Prices: All prices are displayed in British Pounds (GBP £) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Payment Methods: We accept payments via debit/credit card, PayPal, Klarna, and Clearpay (processed securely via Stripe).
- Buy Now, Pay Later (Klarna & Clearpay): When selecting Klarna or Clearpay at checkout, you enter into a direct agreement with that payment provider. Their respective terms, credit checks, and payment schedules will apply:
4. Cancellation & Refund Policy
A. Yoga Classes & Workshops (Services)
- Class Cancellations by You: Cancellations made at least 24 hours prior to the start of a class may be rescheduled or refunded. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.
- Workshop Cancellations by You: Workshop bookings require at least 7 days’ notice prior to the event date for a full refund.
- Cancellations by Yogaloka: If Yogaloka needs to cancel a class or workshop due to teacher illness or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer your booking to a future date.
B. Physical Goods & Products
- Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel an order for physical goods (e.g., yoga mats, props) within 14 days of receiving the items.
- To return an item, it must be unused, in its original packaging, and in saleable condition. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is faulty.
5. Health, Safety & Medical Disclaimer
- Yoga involves physical exertion. By participating in Yogaloka classes or workshops (whether in-person or online), you confirm that you are in good health and physically able to perform the exercises.
- It is your responsibility to inform the teacher of any pre-existing medical conditions, injuries, surgeries, or pregnancy prior to the start of any class.
- You are responsible for practicing within your own physical limits and listening to your body. Yogaloka accepts no liability for injuries sustained during classes except where caused directly by proven negligence on our part.
6. Online Classes
- For live or recorded online classes, you are responsible for providing a safe environment free of hazards, as well as adequate internet connection and suitable equipment.
- Sharing access links or recording classes without prior written permission is strictly prohibited.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website—including logos, photography, text, graphics, and course materials—is the property of Yogaloka (or licensed to us) and protected by UK copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content for commercial purposes without prior written authorization.
8. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under UK law. Subject to this, Yogaloka shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses resulting from your use of the website or attendance at our classes.
9. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
